Harris Karakannas Architects is an emerging architectural and design studio established in 2019 by architect and architectural researcher Harris Karakannas. Since its inception, the studio has been involved in a wide range of design projects ranging from furniture design to complex architectural projects and master plans. The studio’s creative approach to each proposal is unique, parameter-driven regardless of the scheme’s scale, and is informed by the input of a diverse group of experienced consultants the office collaborates with. ?
The team constantly experiments with alternative methods of design, new techniques of 3D modeling and explores different approaches to structural systems to actualize a non-conforming approach to architecture that is informed by advanced engineering. The unconventional approach to design defines the distinctive character of the work produced by the firm.
